The formation of the art under Jumper Maybach’s direction takes on a life of its own. In the “Metro Man and Metro Woman” of the “People Series”, Jumper actually communicates with the “Metro Man and Woman”. He paints and applies each piece of the mix media to the paintings as a living tribute to the true living art he is creating. When viewers of his art question “Jumper” about “Metro Man or Woman”, they say “You talk as your art is a living being”. Jumper simply replies that each Metro Man is living. The “Metro Man & Woman” is what makes the inner city a thriving and diverse place to live. The “Cotton Candy Queen” of the “People Series” is another example that Jumper has given a living perspective on the entity within the art. Jumper has given life to the art and his circus performances lives on.
